Omakase

Tied with Filipino food, Japanese food is on the top of my list of favorite cuisines. Even if it was out of our way, my friends and I headed to Omakase in Greenhills on a busy Saturday night.

Salmon Sashimi - P220

We started off with ten pieces of fresh salmon goodness.

Miso Soup - P45

Our resident fitness friend always orders miso soup..

Big Daddy's Chicken

I first tasted this version of fried chicken in Taiwan's night market, it's like a breed between fried chicken and pork chop. Maybe that's why they call it chicken chop? Hahaha!

When I heard that we now have our very own chicken chop here in Manila, I knew I had to try it. I went to the Greenhills branch with my sister and her friend.

Serenitea - take two!

I take back what I said during my first experience with Serenitea. I have a sweet tooth, so ordering a drink with 50% sweetness level was very wrong. For my succeeding tries, I got the FULL sweetness level - just right for me!

P95 (Large)

Large Okinawa with pearls - this will be my regular drink from now on!

Serenitea, Good Burgers, Buy-the-Bucket

In a year, you can count the days that I'm in Greenhills with one hand. So when my friend invited me, I was excited for a change in venue and new food. Warning: traffic starts at around 3:30pm because of the schools in the area.

San Juan Branch in J. Abad Santos Street

A gloomy day ahead, but we were excited to see Serenitea. (And Ristras just across! Next time!)

Lots of drinks to choose from! We asked what the best sellers are: Okinawa (brown sugar) and Hokkaido (Caramel). You can also choose the sweetness level of your drinks.

P85 each

We trusted them and got Hokkaido and Okinawa. We also got the Choco Milk Tea. I think we felt guilty that time so we got the 50% sweetness level for our drinks. With all the hype, I expected better. That or the 50% sweetness level was not enough. It wasn't that bad though. The pearls were very soft and chewy.
